Community Site in a Box
auCD is providing free licensing of an automated self-managed community website to CGDN approved community groups until the 31st December, 2009*.
This "off the shelf website" is an automated site builder with an integrated Content Management System (CMS) and includes the following:
- Selection of templates that the user can edit to change background images, fonts and colours - as well as the ability to create your own styles
- Content management system to add, edit or delete sections, pages, text, documents and images
- functions such as news, events, contact us, search and site map
- Allowance for sponsor ads
- Directories that are re-naemable and an integrated business directory that is powered by localised Sensis yellow.com.au
- The ability for the community to submit their news, events, directory listings via the community website
- The ability to issue unlimited individual geographic email addresses to your community - accessed via the community website portal which can encourage more visits to your website, eg. johnsmith@ourtown.ourstate.au, footballclub@ourtown.ourstate.au, plumber@ourtown.ourstate.au
- Statistics on web use
- Hosting
- Help/Support
- No limit to the size of your website content
*With previous offers made for the use of “Community Site in A Box” the licence granted under its terms and conditions runs year to year. With this free offer the right of auCD to make Site in a Box available for your use ceases on 31 December 2009. While auCD will try to make this, or a similar, application available after this date, continued availability cannot be assured.
