auCD was pleased to invite Mandurah and surrounding localities to a free information workshop on developing a community website using a Community Geographic Domain Name (CGDN). The event took place at The Atrium Hotel, Mandurah on the 18th June, 2008.

Many community organisations and individuals came along to the session for their opportunity to learn more about the national CGDN initiative and its gathering momentum. Many of the delegates put themselves forward to be involved in the development of Mandurah's community website, further discussions now need to take place to identify the best community group to act as custodian for the name on behalf of the larger community.
