Goombungee QLD

auCD, with the support of Rosalie Shire Council, invited Goombungee and the surrounding region to attend a free information workshop on developing a community website using Community Geographic Domain Names (CGDNs) on the 4th February, 2008 at the Rosalie Gallery in Goombungee.

Two local councils were represented on the day, along with community organisations that were keen to get involved.  The benefits of developing a community website using a CGDN were of particular interest for retaining local identity, as well as providing essential information to the local community and promoting themselves to the wider world.
