Mansfield Community Website Popular with Employers

In a recent survey the Mansfield community website group reported that its most popular area of their website is their new Employment section.

This is a fantastic use of the Community Geographic Domain Name (CGDN) initiative and demonstrates the groups continued effort to serve their locality by providing valuable information via the website to existing residents and businesses, as well as those who are thinking of moving to the area.

Paul Sladdin from MACE Incorporated says the site has become a central resource and billboard for local employers looking to catch the attention of potential workers.

“We are part of the Municipal Health Plan committee and a major issue here, as in all rural areas, is attracting doctors and other health professionals to Mansfield. It was recommended we include an employment section on the site as often partners of health professionals need employment as well”, said Paul Sladdin.

“Also we do not have a permanent Job Network provider here in town so it helps to advertise jobs for the locals", he said.
