Kyogle launches - first CGDN with car pooling initiative

On Saturday 16 August, Janelle Saffin, Federal Member for Page launched Kyogle's new community owned website

On Saturday 16 August, Janelle Saffin, Federal Member for Page launched a new community owned website at the Kyogle Community Technology Centre (CTC). 

Kyogle's Car Pooling initiative is the first CGDN website to provide a bulletin board for community members to communicate with each other about sharing car rides.

The site will be administered by the Kyogle CTC.  

In launching the site, Ms Saffin spoke of the good work that has been done by the CTC in Kyogle since its inception in 2005. 

Pat Anderson, manager of CTC Kyogle, thanked Kyogle Council for provided funding towards purchasing and setting up the site and the Kyogle and District Chamber of Commerce and Kyogle Community Economic Development Committee who have agreed to work with the Council and CTC to ensure the site remains relevant to the community.
