auCD was pleased to invite Colac and surrounding localities to a free information seminar on developing a community website using a Community Geographic Domain Name (CGDN) on the 15th July, 2008.

Members of different local communities came to the Colac Otway Performing Arts & Cultural Centre to learn more about the initiative that has reserved every community in Australia its purely geographic website address for the development of a community website. The group learnt how the CGDN network of trusted community sites has developed and grown over the last 2 years and how they could become involved in the development of their local community website, serving its residents, businesses and visitors.
