Eden NSW

On the 12th November, 2007 auCD invited the Bega Valley Region to attend a free information workshop on developing a community website using the Community Geographic Domain Names (CGDNs). The workshop took place at the Eden Fisherman's Club. The delegates were able to learn how a CGDN can help build stronger communities and provide relevant, up to date information on a website run by the community for the community. The group was able to ask questions relevant to their localities and hear how other groups across Australia have gone about researching, funding, developing and maintaining theirs. The race is now on for Eden to be the first in the region to launch their CGDN website!
